Rosh Chodesh in Anne Arundel County

In 2003, Ellyn Becker Kaufmann, from Temple Beth Shalom in Arnold, MD, began our local Rosh Chodesh group. Since then, women from Temple Beth Shalom in groups of 10-30 have met at members' homes to bake challah, discuss relationships, talk about Golda Meir, share travel stories in Israel and elsewhere, learn about spices, and much, much more! Our group now has members from the surrounding synagogues and unaffiliated Jewish women who have heard of the Rosh Chodesh group from friends and by word of mouth. As of September 2012 or the beginning of 5773, in the Hebrew month of Tishrei, Temple Beth Shalom is reaching out to the community to invite you to join us.
